Hi. I had an idea for improving the MIDI learn functionality of Twin (well, at least I think it would be an improvement). The idea is to add a new modulation source called 'learn CC' or something, and when you connect it to a target, the first CC number that is changed, is assigned to the modulation source.

The advantages:

-it allows you to store CC mappings with presets (which is especially useful if you have complex patches, and a limited number of controllers)
-it allows you to control the amount of modulation by the CC, so you can use CC to make subtle changes
-to me, it seems like a very intuitive way of working, and consistent with the way the interface works now (which is great, by the way!)
-it doesn't seem very hard to implement, and I think it can co-exist with the way MIDI learn works now.

So, what do you think? Any chance of seeing this in a future version of Twin?
