problem with fabfilter and soundtoys
I have the total bundle (not including pro-c) for RTAS PC. I recently bought and installed the soundtoys native bundle for PC and since then any Protools sessions that contain an RTAS version of a fabfilter plugin produces a Windows error and shuts down PT. This doesn't appear affect the wrapped VST versions.
Has anyone else encountered this? I've tried all manner of uninstalling and reinstalling in different orders and the result is the same. Any thoughts?

What happens if you create a new session and then add some FabFilter RTAS plug-ins to it?
the session crashes as soon as i open the RTAS plugin. i haven't tested it with either of the synths but it affects timeless, volcano and simplon
... and this happens even if you do not include any Soundtoys plugins in the session?
What happens if you move the Soundtoys plugins to the Plug-Ins (Unused) folder for ProTools, so they are not loaded at startup?
hi frederik,
yes this occurs even if no soundtoys plugins are in the session. the problem continues to occur even if soundtoys are moved into unused plugins (and preferences are trashed), and also if soundtoys are uninstalled. i have been able to get the RTAS fabfilter plugins to function again if i uninstall soundtoys and all the PACE drivers and reinstall the PACE drivers and the total bundle.
Thanks for the info, we'll try to reproduce the error here!
