Pro Q 3 Not Applying EQ

I am in Cubase 10 on Windows 10. I am trying to use Pro Q 3 on my group track (a low frequency cutoff). As I drag the node up and down I can hear it alter the sound a little, but it's definitely not high passing the sound. The audio is coming through mostly unaltered - it sounds like the audio might be coming through at 90% and the EQ is only EQing the last 10% of the audio. The group track is made up of two returns from VEPro. If I place the SAME Pro Q 3 insert (just moving it) to the returns from VEPro, it behaves as expected. The last test was to throw another EQ (Neutron 2) on the group channel. It works exactly as I would expect it.

Hi Moquan,

This sounds like you're using the VST2 version of Pro-Q 3 on a mono track in Cubase. There are unfortunately several bugs with mono VST2 support in Cubase. The best option is to use the VST3 plug-in instead: you will find it in the EQ section of the inserts menu, marked with the /// VST3 icon.

Cheers,
