Pro G, External Sidechaining Fl Studio
I canĀ“t get the external sidechaining function to work in Fl studio. I want to link an external samle as tirgger to Pro G. The matter is described in the manual at page 28 for some DAWs but not for Fl Studio.

Does anyone have a solution?

In FL Studio, the process is a bit convoluted. Say you have two tracks: track 1 is where the Pro-G is, and you wish to feed track 2 to the side chain.
In the Mixer, select track 2 (the side chain source). Now click on the up-pointing arrow button at the bottom of the level slider for track 1. This will make a connection from track 2 to track 1. Right-click the arrow above the knob that has appeared, select "Sidechain to this track". Leave the level at 0.
On track 1, you should have the VST3 version of Pro-G. Open the interface, click on the button at the top with a plugin icon with a settings gear icon (the second one). In the Processing tab, under Connections, set "Stereo Side Chain" to 1 instead of --. You should now be getting a side chain signal in Pro-G.
Cheers,
Managed to side chain using the steps but for someone not familiar with Fl Studio or a beginner, you need to add pictures to the steps
