Pro-Q 3 Dynamic EQ triggered by sidechain

Hey everyone, I'm very excited about the update to Pro-Q 3. I'm wondering if it's possible to to use the sidechain signal to trigger compression/expansion in dynamic EQ'ing -- from what I can see it's not. This would be a cool feature...

Never mind, I see this question was addressed in another topic -- no external sidechain triggering of the dynamic EQ. To me that seems like the logical next step but I suppose it makes sense FF doesn't want to make Pro-MB obsolete.

For me these features would make Pro-Q perfekt:

  • Optional triggering of compression via external sidechain (for voice/guitar, bass/bass drum ...)
  • Editing of all Pro-Q3 instances within the same window (like melodyne studio)
  • Optional control of realease, attack knee and lookahead
