Pro-Q Subtle Stereo Enhancer
Could someone please detail using the Stereo Enhancer for stereo 2 channel recordings and especially for mono 2 channel recordings?? I imagine you will hear a wider soundstage with the effect on a stereo recording.
How does this Stereo Enhancer work for mono two channel recordings...will it make the mono recording sound more like a stereo recording because of the time delays? Is it good to use this on a mono recording, any detrimental things if I use it on a mono recording

Hi Tom,
This preset works by creating small differences between Right and Left in terms of frequency response (you can see that each channel gets 2 Bells in slightly different areas), and by that also creates a tiny amount of phase difference.
Both of these widen the stereo by a bit.
The 'subtle stereo enhancement' is under a tab called "stereo", which is dedicated to stereo tracks only.
It will not work on single mono tracks, for obvious reasons.
What you can do is route both mono tracks to a stereo Group and put the Q2 on the group.
