Pro-L 2 FCPX problems
I'm having a problem in FPCX.
I use Pro-L 2 as limiter on almost all of the clips.
As soon as there is an edit in the clip, like a cut between multiple camera angles, and Pro-L 2 is on the clip, there is a clearly audible cut/artifact, even though the audio should not be affected by the different camera angle.
I don't have the same issue with any other audio plugins or the older Waves L1+ Limiter.

Hi David,
Sounds like FCPX might not be compensating correctly for Pro-L 2's latency. We'll try to reproduce the problem ourselves.
Cheers,
Hi David,
Sorry for the delay! Would it be possible for you to send us a small test project that illustrates this issue? Please send it to info@fabfilter.com.
Thank you in advance!
It appears this bug wasn't ever resolved. I just made a really short video demonstrating the issue. The video starts with a synchronized clip that has Pro-L 2 applied to it. When a cut is made in the clip, there is a very clear artifact that happens at the cut point when Pro-L 2 is enabled. if Pro-L 2 is disabled, the artifact disappears.
Forgot to include the video on my previous comment.

Hi Trevor,
This looks like a bug in FCPX to me. Did you report it to Apple?
Cheers,
