Remove / Render Plugins Causes DAW Crash

2017 MacBook Pro [no touchbar]
macOS Sierra [Version 10.12.6]

Studio One 3.5.3 [64 Bit]

FabFilter Pro-Q 2 [Version 2.1.1] [64 Bit]
FabFilter Pro-C 2 [Version 2.05] [64 Bit]

Whenever I remove this plugin from the track in my Mixer window, the DAW crashes as well.

It seems that the VST 2 versions of these plugins cause the DAW to crash specifically. It happens when I try to remove the plugin from an audio chain, or if I render a track with the plugin on it (which ultimately removes the plugin).

Hi Tyrieke,

Thanks for reporting this! It would be great if you could e-mail us about this, with as much info as possible, and preferably a crash report as well. Then we'll investigate!

Currently having this issue in a Cubase 9.5.10 session as well. Removing inserts from slots 5-7 doesn't crash. When I remove ProQ2 from slot 8, a couple seconds later it crashes.

Hi William,

If you can reproduce this issue, can you send us a video link via email that shows the crash?

Cheers,
