I'd love to see a hardware version of Saturn. To my knowledge fabfilter does not make any hardware but If you guys were to collaborate with a pedal or rack effects company, I think this could be created.
I think this would be beneficial for several reasons.
1. In the studio being able to put hands on the unit would be more appealing to the tracking musicians and engineer. You'd be able to get the sound you want as you record the part versus adding the plugin afterwards.
2. In a pedal format I could see this type of pedal being extremely popular among gigging musicians. Having the ability to access different presets for all kinds of drive/saturation in one pedal would save money to many who invested in this pedal initially.
3. If you were to work with a company like source audio for example then you include some of the features they offer. This could be expression pedal control, midi, hot hand etc. I think the innovation behind both companies could be really great if they were to collaborate.
