ProQ2 2.1 cpu spiking in ableton 9.7.1...any else having this issue

I see the same issue where Pro Q2 spikes the CPU especially when the plugin is open. The spike becomes consistent with more instances of the plugin. I have reached out to fabfilter for the same. Awaiting their take on it.
