Mono or Stereo Versions of Plugins
Hello everyone!
I have a question regarding when to use the mono or stereo version of the plugins.
My process entails mixing in mono but eventually turning everything into and exporting in stereo.
The question is do I use the mono or stereo version of fabfilter plugins on tracks that are originally mono (such as vocals or 808)? Remember that I'm eventually exporting them in stereo, but I'm mixing in mono for good practice.

Hey Vincent,
If you use the latest versions of the plugins, which are VST3, your DAW program should choose the right one automatically.
So if you put on a Mono Track, it would load the mono version automatically, and of course the other way around.
This works in Cubase, but I'm pretty sure it works this way in other DAWs
This is the "right" way to do it, so if you do have to select it manually, this is what you do.
