Is swing possible with Timeless 2
With SoundToys delay plug Echoboy it is possible to dial in a swing amount and this is a wonderful function to let the echos join the groove better in a lot of songs of mine.
Is it possible to achieve something like this in timeless with some clever setting? Modulation?

I just found out one way to do it, but I don't know if it is the simplest:
You can use two delay units in series: E.g. if you want eighth notes, set the first delay unit to quarter notes with the desired amount of feedback. Set the second delay unit to a bit longer than eighth notes (corresponding to the amount of swing you want) with no feedback.
Best,
Sven
You have the right idea, but can do this with one Timeless.
Set delay L to eighth notes with feedback at zero and cross feedback at 1. Set delay R to quarter notes with cross feedback at zero and use delay R feedback to control the feedback amount.
Now offset delay L to get the delay swinging. You can also use each delays pan to control the ping pong, set them both at zero to get the swung delay in mono.
Thanks Matt for your reply!
If the dry signal is in stereo and I want to keep the original "stereoness" (i.e. separate L/R delay channels) rather than create "new" ping pong stereo, however, I guess I will have to use two delay units?

Sven
It's a good question and you are right, your solution running two delays in series seems best for a stereo signal.
