Pro Q2 Causing Crashing of LPX 10.2 and sound artefacts
Hi,
I am having sizeable issues when using Q2. I do some very intensive notching and cleaning of tracks to produce the cleanest mix downs I can. Now when I use all the maximum nodes it crashes LPX and is also causing spikes/across across the whole spectrum (showing a flat line) this happens even when I have 96db High and lowpass filters on.
Is anyone else having these issues?
Please can anyone advise as it's bring my productions to a halt (time is money as they say lol)?
Thank you :)

Hi,
Are you using the latest Pro-Q 2.04 version? I just tested it in LPX 10.2, creating 24 notch bands with 96 dB/oct slope and didn't have any problems.
Can you explain exactly how you get the crash? Can you send us e.g. a preset that causes the crash and the crash report? Please use the Contact link at the bottom of this page.
Cheers,
Hi Fredrick,
Thank you for the swift reply. I didn't know we had an update, I've changed my settings to receive notifications of updates and installed the bundle update.
Having now updated all my bundle I'll see how I get on. If I get it to do it again I will try and replicate and feed back to you.
Ps can we have more nodes as I am running out of them lol :)
I would like to say as we are quick to moan, the FabFilter tools are brilliant. I use them all, but the key three are; Pro-L Pro Q2 and Pro-MB. Well done guys I use them on all my tracks all the time and they are Fab!! (excuse the pun) Thank you!
