PRO MB at first sight - "abuse" as EQ

Hi,
am I rigt, can use/abuse the MB as multiband EQ
when the rate comp/exp rate set to 1:1 ?
Just installed the demo and tweeking around now Im not shure wheter to buy the MB or EQ. Both are powerful tools. But buying both is out of reach at the moment.

Meanwhile working with MB using as EQ also works ?
What do the experts think ...

Hey Andrew,

For me (and many others) not only with FF, but an Equaliser is one of the most used plug-ins.
Plus where FF is concerned, you be able to use many more instances of Pro Q than you would Pro MB. (CPU etc..)

I don't know what your projects are but, if your looking for an eq, get an EQ.

Then I would suggest Pro C = Compressor. Many instances again.

MB as an eq can work but with a lot of limitations. such as, the amount of bands.

This is my opinion/view!

Also, you could use Saturn as an Eq, but again, limitations.
