Saturn default output volume -1db
just noticed that both vst and au (both in live 9, au in logic x) have -1 db as the default output upon instantiation.

Hi Jim,
That's correct. This is because the default saturation that is introduced increases the loudness, and the -1 dB compensates for that. So in short: insertion Saturn on a track shouldn't change the perceived loudness :-)
Note that you can customize this by overwriting the Default Setting preset if you want (click Options > Save As Default in the presets menu).
