Spectrum EQ doesn't work?
Hi,
I must be doing some simple wrong here. I get how the spectrum EQ feature is supposed to work, and have read the help files and seen the video-- I just can't get it to do it. If I hold the mouse button down (*not* hover, as the docs seem to suggest) around the spectrum line, the graph goes into a peak-hold mode (again, it doesn't really 'freeze', as in the directions). But from there, I can't do anything without exiting the mode, and the graph returns to normal. I could try to include a screen recording, if that would be helpful, but I just can't figure out what the trick is...
Thanks,
Brian

Hi Brian,
You need to hover over the filled part of the spectrum for a second or so. It will freeze, and then you can move the mouse to the highlighted spectrum curve to drag it up or down.
If you move the mouse cursor above the spectrum line, Spectrum Grab will cancel to let you do other things.
Cheers,
Hi Frederik,
Would it be possible to make the spectrum cancel boundary a bit higher up from the spectrum line? It's very difficult to manoeuvre the mouse without the spectrum hold cancelling all the time, especially when there is a narrow peak. It's virtually impossible to move the mouse up without it accidentally going sideways and going outside of the spectrum, thus cancelling the hold.
Cheers, Jim.
