Are the spectral animations in Pro-Q using resources when the window is closed?
Are the spectral animations in Pro-Q using resources when the window is closed and sound is running through the processing path?
How about when the window is "minized" but the header bar is still floating in your DAW?
Thank You!

Hi Mike,
No, when theres no interface, no resources are used for the spectrum animations at all. If the interface exists, but is hidden, memory is of course used, bu no CPU resources :-)
Thank You Floris,
I was hoping to learn if it was good practice to manually shut off the spectral animations before closing the window.
I am glad to hear from you that Pro-Q altready does this for us.
I imagine the resources used are low, but I end up with so many instances of Pro-Q in a project that it seemed like a good question to find the answer too.
