We did change the solo feature. Is there a specific case (filter type etc) where you think it is not as good as in Pro-Q 1?
Cheers,
On the bell filter below a 36 db/oct slope alot of extra sound seems to be hearable while soloing compared to pro q-1. And when creating a new bell the default slope is always 12 db/oct (unless this is changable, i havent found a way to set filter slope defaults). So i usually have to change the slope to higher then 36db/oct to hear that frequency better in solo and then switch back to the lower slope. I also found a bug with the notch filter. The mouse scroll wheel does not seem to save the the Q while soloing or even just sweeping around different frequencies. Example : make a notch, solo it , change the Q with scroll wheel, then letting go of the solo or moving the mouse left and right will lose that Q and go back to the original Q.
If you have pre+post analyzer on you can see how much unrelated frequencys are hearable with a bell of 12-36db/oct slope compared to a 48-96db/oct while solo. 12-36 db/oct slopes dont really seem to solo the frequency bands :(
Hope this helps in what I mean :D
It was a Lovely feature at pro q 1
it was useful and easy and clear to find problem
freq especially harsh
i wish to bring it back like an option with the new!
