I came here to ask the same question! Would love to have Q2 replace all instances of Q in my current sessions, preserving the settings. Is that possible??
I believe they said there are changes that happened under the hood that makes the compatibility only possible by having 2 separate versions, meaning, one can't replace the other. But I could be wrong.
That's correct. Pro-Q 2 can read version 1 presets but they won't sound exactly the same due to algorithmic changes we've made. To avoid subtle differences in e.g. a finished mix we made it possible to use v1 and v2 side by side.
Hi!
The new bundle installer doesn't include Pro-Q. Any future clean install using this bundle would mean looking for the older version of Pro-Q to be able to load older projects.
Is this correct?
Is Pro-Q being discarded from future updates and bug fixes?
I think it should still be considered as part of the bundle due to compatibility and algorithmic differences mentioned. And specially considered for updates onto future versions of DAWs.

Thanks for making fantastic plug ins!
