Latency in EQ - AAX clarification required.
Using the higher latency modes in PT 11.1.2 means I hear my tracks later than other ones - but is this the expected behaviour? - i.e. shouldn't the higher latency mean a longer delay is reported to Pro tools so it recalculates delay compensation correctly?
Also in the higher latency modes I'm finding certain softsynths are running out of time (sync based ones) , when I put back to zero latency this problem disappears.
Could you clarify what I should expect with the higher latency modes?

Hi Rich,
We do report the latency correctly, but in Pro Tools, you can choose which latency compensation "engine" to use; each has a limit on the maximum latency that can be compensated. You need to select the Maximum option to use all of Pro-Q's linear-phase modes.
