Twin fails in Sonar 5
When I insert Twin in the synth rack in Sonar 5 it works fine. When I reopen the project I get a message that the plugin is unavailable. I ran the cakewalk vst configuration but I get the same message. The stand alone version works but I have to change the audio, midi options every time I start it.
Any suggestions are welcome.

Hi Michael,
Thank you for reporting this issue. We will try to reproduce this bug and solve it asap.
Cheers,
This appears to be an issue in the Cakewalk VST adapter that Sonar uses. If you want to use FabFilter Twin with Sonar or another Cakewalk host, you need to rename the 'FabFilter Twin.dll' file in the VST plugins folder used by the host, to 'Twin.dll'.
To keep the stand-alone version working however, there also needs to be a 'FabFilter Twin.dll' file in the folder where 'FabFilter Twin.exe' is installed.
You would for example end up with these files:
C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\VSTPlugins\Twin.dll (or whatever VST plugins
folder you use)
C:\Program Files\FabFilter\Twin\FabFilter Twin.dll
C:\Program Files\FabFilter\Twin\FabFilter Twin.exe
