Update wrong maybe ?

Hi...quick question and sure I am overlooking somthing...just updated all my plugs with the latest versions ..
Thing is that when I open a project I am working on some of them show that they are still the older versions...except for the ones listed as vst 3 these show the newer updates..
For instance pro q is only showing me the older version using regular vst plugin same as pro c...and did not automatically update I believe ..
But if I use the vst 3 version of each one they show the newest updates nov 2012.
Using cubase 6 btw..

Hi Paul,

That sounds like the VST 2 plugins were installed to a different plugin folder than the one Cubase is using.

I would recommend to first verify the host's plugin folder, and then reinstall the FabFilter plugins, selecting the correct folder in the VST 2 options screen in the installer.

Thanks...yeah I realize now that I moved the vst2 versions to different folders a while ago..made my own folders etc ...ahhh
