Ableton 9 effects?

You've probably seen the new Ableton Live 9 video on Youtube. The new EQ 8, Compressor and Gate look a lot like FabFilter plugins. Are you collaborating with Ableton or have they just copied your nice display features?

Very interested to know more about this, too. Actually, I came here to ask exactly the same thing :), but you had already done that.

Some info on this from Fabfilter would be really... fab!

Hi guys,

No, we're not involved. I guess they were simply 'inspired' by our innovative interfaces ;-) However, from what I see, their EQ interface still doesn't come close to the Pro-Q interface. It might look a bit alike, but don't underestimate how well-thought-out and fine-tuned Pro-Q is :-)

Live 9 is such a disappointment to me. Sooo many features were not addressed and their blatant 'homages" to fab filter as one of their main selling points is weak.

You guys kill. Those guys are dead.
