Fabfilter Pro Q EQ and Cubase 6.5
Hello
I had a installed Pro q and used it in Cubase 6.5 until a crash happen when i was inserting a new EQ.
Afetr this Crash Pro Q was still shown as Inserteffekt but didn't load anymore.
After deinstalling regestrycleaning and installing Pro Q EQ again.
Cubase 6.5 32 bit does start till the Fabfilter Pro q VST3 gets loaded and crashes then?
I have win7 64bit Ultimate. After the deinstalation of Pro Q Cubase works normal. But when i install Pro Q again CUbase crashes again ;(
I install as recommendes vst2 and vst 3 and not the Protool stuff
Anyone an idea?

Hi Martin,
I just installed Cubase 6.5.1 32-bit on a 64-bit Windows 7 system, but could not reproduce your crash.
Are you sure you are using the latest version of Pro-Q (1.13)?
I've also replied to you via e-mail for some more information.

In case anyone else runs into this problem: it turned out to be an incompatibility between Novation Automap and our VST3 plugins. Novation recommends to use the new 4.4 version, currently in beta:
