Please make a DeEsser plugin (PRO-D?)
Hi Fabfilter Team,
As a relatively new user of Fabfilter plugins i feel obliged to tell you how much your plugins have helped me and improved my workflow, so thank you so much.
I was hoping/wondering if there was any plans for making a dedicated DeEsser plugin in the near future?
I firmly believe that one made to your usual high standard would be a no-brainer for any one recording audio(speech or singing)
Thanks again,
Graham

No interest in this idea?
I'm still hoping that Fabfilter have a DeEsser hiding up their sleeves for future release.
Best,
Graham
It's on our wish list, together with many other potential new plug-ins. :-)
Cheers,
Hi Graham, have you tried using the De-Esser presets in Pro-C? I used to use a standard de-esser that only reduced the high frequencies, but I've since come to love using Pro-C (it's used as a wideband de-esser)
That might at least hold you over until a decision is made
Hi Adam,
Yeah I've only bought it recently and i'm getting used to it quite quickly.
Very easy compressor to use. Thanks, I'll check out those presets.
I was thinking if they had a dedicated DeEsser made to the same standard and as flexible as the rest of their plugins it would be awesome.
Hi Frederik, thanks for the input!
Graham
I'm chiming in to bump this old request. I'm a big Pro-G fan and would love to see that same kind of effort put into a Deesser. There's not a whole lot of quality, 64-bit dessers out there. Right now I'm still using Spitfish.
