Volcano 2 VST3 panning rings?

So I wondered where the Volcano 2 panning rings on the VST3 version in Cubase 5.5.3 on the Filter freq. and in/output are?

They are there on the VST2 version in my host Cubase 5.5.3, but not VST3.

I like VST3 cause of the easy sindechaining..

Can someone please help me out here?

Thanks!

Ok this is annoying the shit out of me..

When I load another Volcano 2 VST3 on another INSTRUMENT track in Cubase 5.5.3 it does load with the panning options..

But when I load it on my desired audio track it doesnt..

This must be a bug..

Hi Jovas!

Probably, the instrument track is stereo, and the effect track is mono: the panning options aren't available in the mono version (since they don't make any sense there).

Cheers,

Floris (FabFilter)

Hi Floris,

You are right. For some reason the stereo audio files were dropped on mono tracks when inserted into the project. I can't believe this is happening, probably some preference setting in Cubase.. I had them routed to a stereo group track, but still, the source tracks are mono so I can't believe I did not notice that..

I even requested panning rings for Volcano 2 along with a delay freeze for Twin 2 a few posts earlyer.. LOL!

't schoamrood stoat me op de koaken.. ;)

Thanks!

Jovas
