Pro-Q AU crashes on Renoise, VST on shortcutload

Hi. I'm finding there to be interesting results with using Renoise and Pro-Q.

1) I installed VST/AU on my OSX 10.6.8 machine, and started AU - only to get "Failed to create the plugin GUI. See the log for details."
( log:
AU: Opening editor window for pluging 'FabFilter: FF Pro-Q'...
AU: Found a custom carbon editor view component...
AU: Failed to create the plug editor view component!
)
I of course panicked and then tried the Pro-Q VST, which, to my delight, loaded. So I started using it. I really like Pro-Q, so I made a shortcut for it (shift-z will load up an instance of Pro-Q). Except
2) The VST, when called like this, will report:
scene.org/~esa/renoise/proq.png
and not load at all. (log:
Audio Plugins: Failed to open plug ÉD$òÈé…˛ˇãD$∫FabFilter Pro-Q (Plugin Architecture ÉD$òÈé…˛ˇãD$∫ not available on this platform)

Exception: Failed to initialize the plugin '?D$???????D$?: FabFilter: Pro-Q'.

Error Message: Failed to initialize the plugin '?D$???????D$?: FabFilter: Pro-Q'.

ScriptingEngine: std::logic_error: 'failed to instantiate the device 'Audio/Effects/VST/VST/FabFilter Pro-Q'. the device is either unknown, or an error happened while initializing it.'

)

Now, I'm not sure whether it's a Pro-Q or a Renoise issue or a issue of both, so I'm mailing the same stuff to both forums and I truly hope that there can be a solution to both these issues.

We'll investigate the problem.
