Your plugins steal space button
Your plugin steal space button in my presonus studio one. It also steal it on fl studio. Please fix your bugs, cause this is most annoying thing ever. This makes me hate your expensive plugins, ffs!
Me no like it — Aug 28, 2011
Sorry to hear that. The thing is that it isn't clearly defined what a VST plugin on Windows should do to avoid this. For example, Cubase just examines incoming keyboard events before passing them to a plugin, and handles the space button itself, neatly fixing the whole problem.
I've done some testing and I've found a workaround for Studio One, but sadly that doesn't work in FL Studio. I'll contact the FL Studio devs to see what they recommend.
Cheers,
First of all, Fabfilter plugins are not expensive, they offer great value for the money.
Second, you can bind your key's in your DAW's(Studio One and FL). So just make some clever key bindings, ok, you have to bind the function which was bind to space button to another key, but hey, it's worth the effort and you'll get used to it in no time..
I hate childish idiots like you crying on the forums without even trying..
Good luck!
frederik, can you tell me some more about your workaround to avoid stealing the keyboard focus in S1? or do you mean an intern workaround inside your plugin?
joost, do you have an example for which keys are to bind in S1?
thnx
