Pro-G (VST3 32 bit) issue in Wavelab Elements 7.1

In Wavelab Elements 7.1 when pressing the "expert" button the expert control area is a black rectangle. (No controls no nothing, just a black rectangle.)

Sincerely
LarsErik

This is a known issue in Wavelab 7.1 and will be fixed in a Wavelab update. For now we suggest you use the VST 2 version.

Ok, thanks for the quick reply.

Same issue in Wavelab 6.1 with VST2 (no VST3 possibility).
The vst3 version works god in Cubase 5.3.

That's a bug in Wavelab 6.1.

FYI: With The 7.1.1 version of Wavelab (released 30 of June) the problem with the PRO-G control area is gone.

LarsErik

Mobile control areas in your other plugins Pro-C, Pro-Q and Pro-L, are well working both in Cubase 5.3 et Wavelab 6.1.
So, will you purpose a solution for Pro-G in the next update, because I'm interested to use Pro-G but I don't want to update to WaveLab 7?

Well, Pro-G requires resizing of the host to toggle the expert controls. WaveLab 6.1 just does not support this and we can't do anything about it. I would still recommend a Wavelab 7 upgrade because it fixes many other bugs as well.

Cheers,

Frederik (FabFilter)

Well, I shall thus have to do without Pro-G.
