"scale" knob on FF1
It sounds like there's some sort of permanent portamento coded into the "SCALE" octave control on FabFilter One. I'll get right to the point and say that I don't like it. I like the "compuphonic" kind of sound you get when automating the octave control to get abrupt, instantaneous octave jumps. Same sound I get when moving the octave control on my real analogs.
Wouldn't it be more versatile (and authentic) to remove the portamento from the SCALE control? That way you can have abrupt octave changes if you want, or if you want portamento, you can program the MIDI notes and use the PORTAMENTO control.

Hi Duncan,
It's a side effect of the way we implemented the scale knob and I agree that we should have done that differently. I'm not sure if we're going to do a One 3.03 release, but we'll definitely change this behavior in future synth plug-ins.
