Oh. I'm on Windows 7 by the way.. And all your plugins work just fine in Cubase5 (both 32 and 64 bit).
Wavelab 7 uses a different VST3 Dir ...
you might find a topic on the Steinberg forum about how to get the Sonnox Plugins into Cubase 5
This topic shows you were you should copy the *.VST3 Files From the Fabfilter Installation to
if you then start Wavelab 7 (or Wavelab 7 Elements) the VST3 Versions of the Fabfilter Plugins should show up fine
(this should be the 32bit versions since wavelab 7 is 32bit and might not except 64bit plugins
Thanks DjRavix for the help. I almost got it working.
I copied the Fabfilter VST3 files from C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\VST3\ and into the same folder where Wavelab keeps it's Sonnox plugins.
This makes the Fabfilter VST3 plugins show up in Wavelab and I can load them into the master section but the GUI doesn't show up. They affect the audio so they are "working" in some sense..
Hi LarsErik,
... and that's a current bug in WaveLab! We're in contact with the developer and this bug will be solved in an upcoming update of WaveLab. Until then, you can of course use the VST2.4 version of our plug-ins!
Best,
Ok, thanks for the information. I'll keep an eye out for the Wavelab update.
FYI: I've just upgraded to the 7.0.1 version of WaveLab Elements and my Fabfilter VST3 plugins work like a charm.
