I'm having an issue with Twin 3. I use Ableton Live 12 Suite on Windows 11 Pro.

If I load Ableton with its default blank template then drop Twin 3 on the midi track, Twin 3 loads almost instantly but if I open some old projects which use Twin 3 then they are taking minutes rather than seconds to load.

After much testing, the presence of Twin 3 is what is causing the slow down. For example, I have a huge template that I use when I start new projects. Twin 3 is on most of the tracks within the project. That project is now taking 5 minutes to load but if I replace all instances of Twin 3 with another synth it takes about 20 seconds.

I can then load my blank template again and drop Twin 3 on the track and it takes up to 30 seconds to load while ANY other synth or plugin loads almost instantly.

Any suggestions as to what's going on and what I can do about it would be greatly appreciated!

SOLVED

Deleting the Ableton browser cache and letting it rebuild has fixed this issue.
