Using Pro-Q 4 in Adobe Audition 2025, the Instances view is awesome BUT it doesn't show the track names, which makes it far less usefull.

It simply shows the tracks as:
Pro-Q
Pro-Q (2)
Pro-Q (3)
Etc.

I applied the effect via the VST3 dropdown in all instances.

I've see people post with this issue in other applications and DAWs but nothing about Adobe. I'm wondering if there is a fix, something I'm missing, or I'm just out of luck and the feature is unsupported.

Hi Jake,

The VST3 format does allow for communication of track names and even color to the plug-in, but it's up to the host to include this information in the data stream going to the plug-in. So it seems Adobe simply does not provide the track name in the data that's being sent to Pro-Q.

I'll see if we have somebody at Adobe that can see if this can be implemented.
