Just getting started and wondering if there are presets beyond the ones that are included?

I think there are plenty of presets in the plugins. For each plugin, there are a number of presets for each type of process native to that app.

So presets are just a place to start, and need to be tailored to each individual song. That's why I've created my own set of presets for mastering, bass, vocals, piano, guitar, drums, etc. etc, and then built templates into my DAW that make use FX chains using my presets. It took a little bit of doing, but this is my starting point and pretty painless right now.
