Twin 2 Crash On Cubase Studio4
i have also problems with horrible loud noise in cubase 4 (vst2).
sometimes i have dropouts while browsing presets...
switching the plugin off/on helps
everything appears randomly so i can't reproduce it....

That is strange, we regularly test with Cubase 4 here. Whenever Cubase crashes, it writes a log file to C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Cubase 4\Cubase4.log. Could you e-mail that file to info@fabfilter.com so we can have a look at it? (If it's large, just send us the last few crashes at the bottom of the file, please.)
I'll also have a look at the 'horribly load noises' issue...
Thanks!
I have been able to reproduce and fix the problem -- both the noise bursts and the crashes. This fix will be in an upcoming 2.01 update version.
Please still send me the crash log if you can find it to make sure it's the same one I found and fixed. Thanks!
Cheers,
thank you very much for
... the info
... great products
... excellent support

I couldn't really find a pattern for it, but twin 2 randomly crashes sometimes on cubase studio 4.
Sometimes when I browse through patches it crashes, sometimes when I am tweaking some parameters it also crashes.(this only applies to the vst3 version of the plugin, vst2 version works fine)
Seems weird...
Also in Ableton live 6 when i browsed through the "best of" patch category some patches made horrible loud noises (the four patches after the Grand preset)
All other fabfilter plugins work fine and have worked fine without any problems.
