I'm working in Nuendo and when I put an instance of Pro-Q 3 or Pro-R 2 the plugin doesn't allow you to select Ambisonics, it sets to mono or stereo. The dropdown has (default) ambisonics, but it cannot be selected.

What drop down? Where are you seeing anything Ambisonics in Pro Q3? I sure don't.

We don't offer ambisonic formats for Pro-Q 3, only surround and Atmos multichannel formats.
