It's possible this will only work after you restart your host, as some hosts cache the default settings.

What OS and DAW are you using? Are you storing a default preset using the plug-ins' internal preset browser or the one provided by your DAW?

I open fabfilter, open analyzer and turn off SC mode, save the preset and set it as default so that when I open the plugin this mode is turned off, but still when I open the plugin again it is turned on
