Please back-port Copy / Paste settings to Pro Q 3, to make switching to v4 easier

Copy / Paste settings is a killer feature of Pro Q 4 IMO. A lot of people are also going to want to migrate their sessions from Pro Q 3 to Pro Q 4, but you can't Copy in Pro Q 3. If this 1 feature was back-ported, migration to Pro Q 4 would be much easier.

Another alternative would be to allow dragging & dropping to a folder or Desktop to create a Pro Q 3 preset, which can then be dragged & dropped to a Pro Q 4 instance to load it. Navigating through menus to Save a preset to a folder is just a bit too much friction - it would be so good if you could just drag & drop like this to make it all faster.

We will add copy/paste to Pro-Q 3 for exactly this reason, but we didn't have time to update Pro-Q 3 right away. We're aiming for January 2025 to release this Pro-Q 3 update.

Amazing news, thanks very much!! If you'd also consider the drag & drop to save presets feature as well, that would be hugely useful also.

This works great and it was a very appreciated addition, to assist with faster migration of settings from the previous version of Pro-Q 3 to the current v4.

I wonder if it would be possible to also add the copy/paste functionality to other FabFilter plugins at some point. Or even to the Legacy/Depreciated versions.

Common case scenario: I have all versions of your plugins (Total Bundle) installed on my device. Which I need for backward-compatibility purposes, for when I am working with and loading older projects which contain instances of the older/previous (Legacy or Depreciated) versions of FabFilter plugins.

It would make it so much easier to substitute those old versions for current versions, if we could likewise, for example, copy/paste the settings from Pro-Q 1, Pro-Q 2, Pro-L 1, etc. directly into their latest versions.

It would make switching over to your new releases from Projects we have previously created at all times with your plugins much faster and easier for the end user.
