Pro-Q4 bug?
Can you reproduce this problem reliably, and if so, give us a specific list of steps to take to reproduce it ourselves? Or is it intermittent?
Cheers,
Yes, turning off dynamic processing when Spectral is enabled does not disable it. It mostly turns it off visually, but I can still hear it's on.
If I turn the plugin itself off and back on, then the disabled Spectral processing bands stays disabled.
Though, it may actually disable on very rare occasions. But I have found to consistency of when that happens.
Does this happen when you disable dynamic processing via the 'Dynamics Enabled' button, on the "eleven o'clock" top left of the Gain/Dynamic Range knob?
Cheers,
The button at 11 o'clock is the Bypass Dynamics button I've been talking about that's not working, when Spectral is enabled. Enabling/disabling Spectral itself works.
When soloing mid or side nodes, the monitoring is incorrect. Mid nodes when solo'd sound like stereo placement left, and side nodes sound like stereo placement right.
This only occurs when solo'd. These stereo placements operate correctly otherwise.

This supposed to be fixed in the 4.01 update. Are you running the latest version?
Turning off the dynamic behaviour of a band does not seem to work it if it's set to Spectral. Some times it will stop showing the dynamic behaviour visually, but it will still be audible, and some times it will continue to show the spectral dynamic behaviour even when turning it off.
Normal dynamic eq seems to always work correctly.
