Logic Pro - midi triggered effects setup
AFAIK the plug-in that received the MIDI should be the first plug-in. So you need to insert Volcano on a second instrument track, and insert it as a MIDI controlled plug-in. Now you can write the MIDI data entering Volcano on that track, and set the side-chain to listen to the track that has Twin 3 inserted.

I'm having trouble with setting up midi-controlled/triggered effects in Logic Pro. I'm not sure if I have my head wrapped around how to do it exactly but here is my setup thus far.
Twin 3 on Instrument 1 with white noise oscillator
Simple midi pattern over 4 bars to trigger the white noise
Volcano on Instrument 2 as an AU midi-controlled effect
Instrument 1 selected as side-chain input
At this point I would have thought to see the little midi light in the bottom right corner light up but I don't. Where am I going wrong?
Thanks,
Jeff
