how do i switch a plugin from vst3 to vst2

HI Amor,

It's not possible to automatically replace VST3 instances with VST2. The other way around should be possible from our next update on though. When a project that uses VST2 is being opened on a machine that only has VST3 installed it will automatically load the VST3 version instead. Unfortunately VST2 does not have the functionality for that.

I just tried to migrate my older projects from PC to mac and it sadly doesnt work...

Hi Sepp,

It depends on the host. Cubase/Nuendo automatically replaces VST2 versions with VST3 if you're running a version that does not support VST2 anymore. Most other hosts still support VST2, and it's not possible to replace VST2 with VST3 automatically.
