Flatten Out Volume Differences

Hi,
I use FabFilter products on my iOS for live performance.

I am trying to flatten out discrepancies between lower volumes and higher volumes. If the volume is lower I want Pro-M to boost it, if the volume is louder than I want Pro-M to compress it. I need this done dynamically because I'm using this with live performance.

I can't get it to work. Even or (of course) within the frequency band I have set, it's not compressing the volume. H E L P!!???
I "believed" when I place a node on the line, if for that frequency band, the db goes above it, it will be compressed down to that node, correct?

Here's the link to the simple wave file:

and here's a link to the setup in Pro M

Thanks for help to flatten this and boost it when it's lower DB.

Why not just use a single Pro-C that compresses above the threshold, with a large ratio and make-up gain? The make-up gain will boost signals below the threshold; signals above the threshold will be highly compressed.

Cheers,
