Because Timeless 3 does not have a MIDI mappable TAP TEMPO button I want to create now such one via TouchOSC. But for this I need the exact number of steps (include the 5.0ms value) of the DELAY TIME parameter. Many, many thanks!

It's – if it would be linear scaling (what isn't) – 49.951 steps in total from "5.0ms to 5.000.0 ms".

I modified @Felix's fader_incdec.tosc file for test purposes, to get at least an increase button and a decrease button for the steps of the fader:

If the position of the TouchOSC fader "timeless" is up and you press the "DEC" button, the scaling still works. Only if the position of the TouchOSC fader "timeless" is down and you press "INC", then you have to press "INC" 26x to get from "5.0 ms" to "5.1 ms".
How to equalize the whole thing?

Which mathematical formula is used to convert the value between 0 and 1 into milliseconds? log10 or something else? (asking for a friend for creating a LUA script). Many thanks!
