FabFilter

I'm demoing Fabfilter plugs and I'm not seeing the "sidechain" button appear on plugs that support this. I've enabled "external" on plugins like the gate, closed and opened the plugin window, and restarted Nuendo, no luck.

I'm using Nuendo 12.07 on Mac OS 13.4. Fabfilter install is from a week or so ago. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Could it be you are using the VST2 version instead of the VST3 version? The VST3 version automatically has the side-chain input. The VST2 version has special versions for plug-ins that use the side-chain input. When you are using the VST2 version the plug-in will have the FabFilter prefix in its name, so for instance the VST2 version is called FabFilter Pro-G where the VST3 version is just called Pro-G.
