Anyone else experiencing graphics lag in Pro Tools 2023.9 and Ventura 13.5? Have tried a couple different recent builds in both Rosetta and Native. All seems well and then it again freezes up. Uninstalled, trashed prefs, nothing helps... Pro Q3 has never given me a single issue until now on this new system.

Turning off graphics acceleration via Terminal command ( defaults write com.fabfilter.Common GraphicsAcceleration -int 0 ) per supports suggestion seems to have solved the issue.

Hi, we just switched to a Mac Studio M2 Ultra in the mixing stage I work for, and we're experiencing the same issue.

We're running on Ventura 13.6.4, we never experienced any bug before switching to the Mac Studio.
We're using a PT Ultimate 23.12.1 with Hybrid Engine, without anyhting suspicious in the session. In fact, this session was working fine on a Mac Pro 7.1 in Catalina 10.15.7.

The spectrum anaylzer appears suddenly laggy, and so does the manipulation of the plug-in : moving a band becomes slow. Then, without any reason, everything goes right, then it happens to lag again.

Would you have a solution ? I'll try turning off graphic acceleration.

I would not have a solution right out of the gate. Did disabling graphics acceleration make a difference? Would it be possible to have a look whether this is also an issue on 2024.4 in native mode?

I managed to change what MB said in an earlier post, and it worked perfectly !
I don’t have any latency anymore so that's perfect !
