I must be missing something fundamental about the modulation system -- Why in some presets is a modulator like an EG modulating the same destination multiple times? For example, the Slapback - '16th Note Stereo Slapback' preset, on the LO-FI parameter the EG is apparently modulating its own level to the LO-FI parameter multiple times. What is the point of this - Is it to make the response non-linear or something? Wish I could attach a screenshot. Any input is appreciated, thanks.

It is possible to modulate the slot levels in the creative plug-ins. If you modulate a slot level of an envelope follower with that same envelope follower, you basically apply that same envelope to the signal being sent to the modulation source, besides the signal already being modulated by that same envelope. This will basically adjust the total envelope arriving at the modulation source. It's like adding two similar envelopes in series.
