hello
i want to reduce music volume (to +- -20db) on track 1 when there is speaking on track 2

is it possible to this with Pro C
and how ?

(i use adobe audition)

Hi Marchal,

Yes, this is a well-known compressor side-chain technique called 'ducking'. You add Pro-C to the track with the speaking, and route the signal of the other track to Pro-C's side chain input.

Then, you enable the Expert section in Pro-C and choose 'External' as detection signal. Finally, set up the threshold/ratio and attack/release settings to your liking.
