No MIDI Learn inside Cubasis for Fabfilter plugins?
We provide the full MIDI Learn functionality in our iOS plug-ins, so if a host sends MIDI to effect plug-ins, you should have no problems getting it to work. Look for the MIDI light in the bottom bar: if it lights up, the plug-in is receiving a MIDI message.
However, it looks like Cubasis doesn't let you route MIDI to effect plug-ins though. In Cubase you need to create a MIDI track and set its output to the effect plug-in that you want to control, but if I try that in Cubasis, it doesn't show the effect plug-ins as possible destinations. Maybe you can contact Steinberg support to see if they can add this feature?

Hi. I don't believe that MIDI Learn is possible inside Cubasis 3 for Fabfilter plugins on iOS. Is this correct? If so, are there any plans to implement this? These are high quality, and expensive, plugins on iOS but my use of them is rather limited without being able to use a hardware MIDI controller for plugins such as Volcano. Thanks in advance, Steve.
