When using pitchshift and multitap, only the very last (feedback) tap is shifted in pitch. Is this how it's supposed to work, or is it a bug. Especially when shift is outside of the feedback loop, it would be nice if all taps shifted, not just the last one.

That's correct. You can only apply the pitch effect to the 100% tap. This is because of the latency that is introduced when enabling the pitch effect. The pitch effect has a latency of about 40msec. That's why the shortest delay time when Pitch is turned on is 45msec, instead of the regular 5msec. It was impossible to apply the pitch effect to all taps and keep a reasonable lowest delay setting.
