I have the complete Fabfilter Suite and I am trying implement some hardware automation to control some basic functions of my plugins. Pro Q3 is my first try.
I am currently trying to implement a Next / Previous button for the EQ bands in Pro Q3 but not having any success.
I am using Reaper as my DAW which is simply awesome and can basically do anything. In Reaper, I have tried the native midi learn function and a software extension (realearn) to implement this functionality with two external buttons but with no success.
Can anyone help out here and maybe shine some light on how to get this going?
I'm at the front end of control surface automation so in some ways, I don't know what I don't know. But I have been able to get EQ band frequency and gain mapped to knobs perfectly. Previous / Next is just refusing so far.
